The Grossglocker High Alpine Road (German: Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße), is the highest surfaced mountain pass road in Austria, connecting in the state of with in Carinthia. It reaches a height of 2,504 m (8,215 ft). Shown in this image is the Grossglockner High Alpine Road coming into the Pasterze Glacier with a view of the glacial lake Stausee Margaritze.
